Materials needed

  • Microwave
  • Microwave-safe container.
  • Glycerin for soap (300 g).
  • Silicone molds of different shapes (3).
  • Flower petals.
  • Natural dyes.
  • Alcohol.
  • Bottle with nebulizer.
  • Perfumed essences for soap.
  • A thin wooden stick.
  • Film.

Preparation

  • Pour the alcohol into the nebulizer and set it aside for later use.
  • Cut a piece of glycerin and put it in a container to put in the microwave.
  • Heat for a couple of seconds until it melts.
  • Mix using the wooden stick.
  • Quickly add a few drops of one or more aromatic essences and the  chosen dye.
  • Keep mixing.
  • Pour the mixture into the silicone mold.
  • Add the flower petals and spread well all over the mold.
  • If bubbles form, you just need to sprinkle them with alcohol to break them.
  • Let it sit and cool for two hours before removing from the mold.
  •  You just have to wrap the soaps in plastic wrap to keep them at their best. If you want to give them as a gift, you can wrap them in clear cellophane sheet and ribbon. You can also decorate a sheet and use twine to wrap them.

Glycerin soaps with oranges

If you like the scent of orange, you can create soaps with pieces of orange peel, which will give a special color to the soap as well as an incredible citrus aroma. You will have to cut the orange peel and let it dry. Next, create the soap following the directions:

Materials needed

  • Orange peel cut into pieces and dried.
  • Transparent glycerine  for soaps (300 g).
  • Silicone molds.
  • Alcohol in a bottle with a nebulizer.
  • Orange dye for soap.

Preparation

  • Put small pieces of orange zest in each mold.
  • Melt the glycerin in the microwave (2 or 3 seconds).
  • Remove from the microwave and add the dye, then mix.
  • Pour everything into the silicone molds.
  • Arrange the orange peel with the wooden stick.
  • Eliminate any air bubbles using alcohol.
  • Let it dry  for a few hours before removing the soap from the molds.
